Many problems which appear on the skin are limited to the skin. Sometimes, however, the skin indicates a disorder which affects the whole body. Consequently, the doctors often must consider much possible diseases by evaluating problems of skin. They can have to order blood tests or other tests laboratory to seek an internal disease in the people who come to them with a problem from skin.
