Trouble free Hairs - Common Hair Trouble
Split ends, dandruff, dry itchy scalp are common problems that can detract from otherwise healthy hairs. In most cases such problems can be overcome by giving the appropriate treatment.
Some of the common hair troubles are listed below:
Flaky - Itchy Scalp
It produces tiny white pieces of dead skin that flake off the scalp and are usually first noticed on the shoulders. This condition can often be confused with dandruff but the two are not related. Sometimes the scalp is red or itchy and feels tense. The hair has a dull appearance. This is caused due to the heriditory traits, stress, insufficient rinsing of shampoo, lack of sebum, using a harsh shampoo, vitamin imbalance, pollution, hair conditioning and central heating.
Solution: Choose a moisturizing shampoo and a conditioner with herbal extracts to help soothe and moisturizing the scalp.
Frizzy Hair
This hair trouble results from the merest hint of rain or other air moisture being absorbed into the hair. Your hair looks dry and lacks lusture. It can be inherited or caused bu rough treatment such as too mucj harsh brushing or pulling the hairs into the rubberbands.
Solution: When washing the hair massage the shampoo into the root and allow the lather to work its way to the end. Apply the conditioner from the mid lenghts of the hair to the ends or use a leave-in conditioner. The hair is often best styled with a gel which should be applied when the hair is wet.
Fine Hair
Fine hair tends to be limp, looks flat and is difficult to style because it does not hold a style. Fine hair may cause due to the heridity but the problem is often made worse by using too heavier conditioner which weighs the hair down. Excessive use of styling products can have the same effect.
Solution: Wash hair frequently with a mild cleanser and use a light conditioner. Volumizing shampoos can help give body and soft perms will make hair appear thicker.
Tips on keeping your hair trouble free.
- Blot hair to remove excess moisture before applying conditioner.
- Avoid rubbing, pulling or stretching wet hair.
- Treat wet hair with care. It is much more sensitive and vulnerable than when it is dry.
- Gently massage conditioner into the hair or use a white toothed comb to distribute it evenly.
- Leave the conditioner on the hair for the time specified, check whether it is a leave-in or rinse-out variety.
