Best Concealer - best concealer eye make up

You can also use concealer under foundation, I agree with those professionals who use concealers as a finishing touch to cover those things that foundation couldn't. Besides, if you apply concealer after foundation, this helps prevent concealer from being accidentally wiped away.

A beautiful face begins with a flawless skin, but most of us are not born with it. Your best tool to disguise a blemish or discoloration is a concealor or foundation. These effectively camouflage imperfections and are the essential canvas on which to base your make-up. The high pigment helps hide spots, zits and even dark shadows and broken veins.

Tips on Concealors

Use a concealor stick in a color that matches your skin-tone. Either smooth it on with your fingertips or apply with a fine brush. Follow the tips as given below to use the concealors:

  • Clean our face completely or the effect will be blotchy.

  • Begin with the outside edge of the blemish, using your fingertip. Stroke cream on very lightly, using gentle circular movements. Do not drag the skin.

  • Set the concealer with a brush of colourless powder. lightly dab away excess with a small soft sponge.

  • Allow concealer to set for 10 minutes, before applying a sheer or water-based foundation with a damp sponge. For sensitive skins, use a hypoallergenic make-up base.

  • The correct use of concealer detracts from facial imperfactions, at the same time, if applied clumsily, it can make the face look even blotchier. Regular moisturising that alleviates dryness can tone down skin that is prone to red patches. To conceal these patches, apply a green-tinted or a warm beige pre-foundation cream. This helps to camouflage redness and unequal skin tone. Now apply your usual foundation.

  • As you age, it is more flattering to use minimal make up. Lines can be minimized with a concealer dotted along their length and blended in. Allow the concealer to dry before applying foundation. As the skin become progressively drier, avoid thick cake foundation that emphasise wrinkles by sinking into them. Keep a light touch when applying to ensure an even base.

  • A number of other facial imperfactions such as scars, broken capillaries, birth marks and pigmentation disorders can be concealed sucessefully with camouflage make-up.
