Body Lotions - dead sea body lotion
The skin on your feet, legs, tummy, breast, hands, arms and shoulders is typically drier than the skin on your face. This means a once daily - or even twice daily - application of body lotion is a must for combatting and preventing scaly patches. The great thing about body lotions today is that many are formulated with special active ingreadients such as retinol, alpha-hydroxy acid, anti-oxidants or sunscreens - all of which help fight visible signs of age. Furthermore, body lotions also come in a range of intensities, from light lotions to rich creams.
Coconut, Avocado oil and Shea butter, as well as other natural emollients sooth and moisturize the skin with out leaving a greasy feel. These rich ingredients help with dry and aging skin and helps youthful skin stay young and healthy.
Use lotion and creams with alpha-hydroxy. AHAs have a drop-off rate, meaning they do not keep exfoliating past the dead surface layers of skin. Once AHAs have sloughed off the thickened surface layers of sun-damaged skin, their effectiveness tapers off. However, to maintain results, AHAs must be used on a regular basis. There is research showing that AHA usage can help stimulate collagen production in the dermis.
