Baby Acne - baby acne treatment and picture

The red bumps on the baby face that break out are known as baby acne. This red bump production on baby face and skin is common and normal phenomenon.

What is baby acne?

Babies may be born with or develop a number of rashes. Their face may break out with red bumps. This is called baby acne . It is a common newborn condition and is completely normal. Baby acne maybe present from the birth, but typically appears at 3 to 4 weeks of age and last until your child is between 4 and 6 months old.

Cause of Baby acne

Baby acne is usually seen on the cheeks, chin, and forehead. It can be present at birth but usually develops around 3 to 4 weeks of age. Baby acne occurs when hormonal changes in the body stimulate oil glands in the baby's skin. The condition can look worse when the baby is crying or fussy, or any other instance that increases blood flow to the skin. Baby acne is harmless and usually resolves on its own within several weeks.

Baby acne Treatment, cure and remedies - How it is treated?

Well, there are some things you should not do. Don't scrub. Baby acne isn't caused by dirt. In fact, too much washing can further irritate it, so don't overdo the cleansing. Simply wash your baby's face with water and some mild baby soap once a day.

Don't put creams or oils on his skin, either, because these can also make the acne worse. If your baby's acne is severe and likely to scar, his doctor may suggest an over-the-counter treatment like benzyl peroxide or even a prescription medication. But usually patience is the best course of action. Your baby's acne doesn't bother him in the least, so try not to let it bother you, either.

Beauty Makeup Tips

When choosing a concealer look for the colour nearest to your own skin tone rather than a lighter one. Covering a problem area with a paler shade will simply accentuate it.
